Asian Film Reviews

Target / Victim 2B is a one man operation; so in other words, what is added to this site is done by me and only me. I occasionally have the help of my sister who edits and fine cuts my reviews. Other than her help with grammar and things of that matter, this site is completely maintained by me. With that in mind, there are a lot of films out there and a lot of these films will never make it on this site. I’m not an army of people and never plan on adding a ton of reviewers to this site. There is also no timeline to when posts will be released because, well, I’m a busy person and to sit down and watch movies and review them takes a lot of time. This site is more of a documentation of the journey I’ve made through Asian film, so when I look back a few years from now I’ll be like, “Woah, I liked that movie” or “This is how it all started.” I also hope to help guide other people in finding Asian films that they’ve never heard of or just expose them to Asian film in general.

There is no method to how I review or add movies to the site. Expect to see films randomly added at odd hours of the night and morning. Also, I will be touching basis on all sorts of Asian film, whether it be a classic or modern film does not matter. The main focus of this section is on Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai, and Korean films with the occasional Indian film thrown in the mix.

The rating system for the films work the following way:
=D (A must see. A film I truly enjoy.)
=) (A film that is great but not perfect.)
=| (A movie that has some issues but overall is enjoyable.)
=\ (A film that usually only appeals to a certain audience.)
=( (This movie just sucks.)
D= (Bane of my existence.)

Also, if you only want to scroll through the Asian film posts in chronological order of when I posted them and not see the other posts on this site, you can click here.
